I am Weihua Wang from Central University of Finance and Economics and my major is Sports Economics and Management. I am very eager to enter The York School of Management to acquire more modern knowledge on management.

 

I have achieved excellent scores on the psychology, principle and application of database system and statistics, and I enjoy solving various problems with analytical skills. I pay more attention to the little details in daily life, and when communicating I analyze the simple human habits and their choices of words to find more about the persons behind it, and these analytical actions improve my analytical capability. I have so strong interest in management that I read the books about management as actively as possible, and I never cease to contemplate over the questions I encounter. When I meet puzzles in daily life I can see more than one side of a problem and solve it easily.

 

I have learned the team behavioral counseling and the foreign etiquette in public relations when I am at school. I notice my behavior and manner and I conduct myself well. I participated in the school concert, and the graduate art show and that improved my communication and expression skills.

 

The hip-hop deputy head of mission in the school art regiment made me a good manager. I have planned some successful activities by applying the knowledge of management theory and human resources management. When planning an activity such as match, performance etc., I sit down with my partners listing the specific duties that the activity needs to be done, and then delegate responsibilities to the team members. During the whole process I keep myself open-minded, and I will discuss with my partners and team members to solve the problems that we meet to make sure the activity will go on well.

 

To learn more knowledge that is relevant to management, I do some part time jobs to gain more practical experience in a big company when I am free. I have helped to draft the management system successfully, and I have also helped to harmonize the relationship between different employees of the different departments. This practice has greatly developed my management ability and communication skills.
