我觉得这么热衷于英语的原因是因为我相信，每一种语言可以让你看看世界在通过语言的眼睛。我对英语的魅力，特别是密切相关这一点。我相信，每一种语言，除了帮助我们沟通，帮助我们理解语言的人。我也相信，有背后通信的一些隐藏的观点从而使你看到一个完全不同的世界。这就是为什么我想成为一名翻译或口译。因此，我可以挖掘这个隐藏的角度上说，口头或书面语言是从我们隐瞒。我是英语和中国人所以我已经通过两种文化的眼睛经历了人生双语扬声器。我认为，了解一个以上的语言帮助你看到生活的不同观点。The reason I feel so passionate about English is because I believe that every language allows you to look upon the world through the eyes of that language. My fascination towards English in particular, is closely related to this. I believe that every language, besides helping us communicate, helps us understand the people of that language. I also believe that there are some hidden perspectives behind communication thus making you observe a completely different world. This is why I want to become a translator or interpreter. So I can unearth this hidden perspective that the spoken or written language is concealing from us. I am a bilingual speaker of both English and Chinese thus I have experienced life through the eyes of both cultures. I believe that knowing more than one language help you see different perspectives of life.
 

而另一方面，在翻译过程中给我带来了关于目标的语言和我的白话语言和文化特点的新观点。这两项独立的语言系统转换不仅涉及语义和文体引渡，而且潜在的文化渗透和移植。其结果是，在我的翻译实践中，我有意识地培养了参与实际的翻译过程中的文化因素，一个多元化的认识。我一直存在着同样的字面理解信息的传送和文化上获悉通信，因为我相信，笔译和口译本质上是通信行为。On the other hand, the Translation course brought me new perspectives concerning linguistic and cultural characteristics of the target language and my vernacular. The conversion of those two independent language systems not only involves semantic and stylistic renditions but also underlying cultural penetration and transplantation. As a result, in my translation practice, I consciously fostered a pluralistic awareness of the cultural factors involved in actual translation processes. I have been equally concerned with the conveyance of literally comprehensible messages and culturally informed communications because I believe that translation and interpretation is essentially an act of communication.

 

我的主要灵感想学习笔译和口译是连接的语言之美。英语和中国一直吸引了我一样，没有其他语言都有。我也看到了语言的交流和互动的文明之间的越多，知道的越多，你可以与他人沟通的基石。英国和中国的文献也激发了我学习语言，以及激励了我的未来。我相信这是更好地在其书面语言阅读书籍。英语和中国这两种语言是如此丰富的词汇量，我一直有兴趣探讨同一个词的不同含义。我一直很喜欢能够表达在许多其他方面一样的感觉和想法。人生有本身的挑战，但我总是喜欢有生活中的更多挑战该位，以保持我的动机和努力才能取得成功。对我来说，特别是口译是一个挑战。人谁做同声传译一直让我吃惊，我想成为一个自己。在过去几年里我有荣幸能为陕西历史博物馆，中国的建于20世纪90年代第一座大型现代化博物馆。这个机会不仅让我有翻译更感兴趣，但它也帮助我提高了中英文中国我的语言能力。我想继续我的学业在英国的原因是多方面的。其中一个主要的原因是因为英国是一个美丽的国家，英国也有很长的历史。其他然后参加学校，我很想更多地了解这个国家，由于这个国家本身也是一个非常有趣的材料来研究。我相信最好的方法去了解一个国家就是住在那个国家，研究它的大学，与来自该国的人交往。My main inspiration for wanting to study translation and interpretation is connected to the beauty of the languages. English and Chinese has always intrigued me like no other language has. I also see languages as the building blocks of communication and interaction between civilizations and that the more you know the more you can communicate with others. English and Chinese literatures have also inspired me to learn the language as well as motivating me for the future. I believe it's better to read a book in its written language. English and Chinese both of these languages are so rich in their vocabulary that I have always been interested in exploring different meanings of the same word. I have always enjoyed being able to express the same feeling or thought in numerous other ways. Life has challenges in itself but I always like to have that bit of more challenge in life to keep my motivation and hard work in order to succeed. To me especially interpreting is a challenge. People who do simultaneous interpretation have always amazed me and I wish to become one myself. Over the past years I have the honored to work for Shaanxi History Museum, China’s first large-scale modern museum built in 1990s. This opportunity has not only made me more interested with translation but it has also helped me improve my linguistic ability both in English and Chinese. I want to continue my studies in the UK for many reasons. One of the main reason is because UK is a beautiful country, also UK have a very long history. Other then participating in school, I would love to learn more about this country due the country itself is also a very interesting material to study. And I believe the best way to get to know a country is to live in that country, study in it’s universities, interact with the people from that country.

 

对我来说，学习英语不是语言习得的仅仅是过程。它拓宽了我的视野，帮助我更深入地了解杂色英美文化，使我沟通，通过中国和英国，与全世界三分之二的人口。在所有我拿了，课程翻译和一般介绍给英国和美国的迷住了我最。这让我接触到一个全新的世界，不同的政治，经济和教育系统，社会生活习惯。由于所有这些信息的载体，英语激起了我探索的英语为代表的文化及其相关方面的浓厚兴趣。For me, learning English was not a mere process of language acquisition. It has broadened my vision and helped me gain insight into the variegated Anglo-American cultures, enabling me to communicate, through both Chinese and English, with the two thirds of the world population. Among all the courses I took, translation and general introduction to Britain and the United States fascinated me most. It exposed me to a totally new world, with different political, economic, and educational systems, social habits and customs. As the carrier of all those information, the English language aroused my serious interest in exploring the culture and its related aspects represented by the English language.
 

我的信念是，通过其首创的十分国家学习英语，我可能会进一步加深我的英语知识。此外，Essexspecific大学计划还将教我的面向任务的口译和笔译技能有用的技术。通过开展这项计划，我将促使一个有意义的职业生涯是密切在语言和文化层面的通信连接。这会帮助我;再加上我的未来观众了解世界的美好前景。我们可以做很多事情。知道英语和中国已经真正使生活更容易在很多方面，我相信，知道英语，这是目前最种语言在世界上，将打开更多的门给予了我生命中多了很多不同的机会。世界正在成为一个大村庄和需要笔译和口译增加每一天。鉴于我希望成为这个村，帮助人们更好地沟通的一部分的机会。My belief is that through studying English in the very country of its origination, I may further deepen my knowledge of English. Moreover, the University of Essexspecific program will also teach me useful techniques of task-oriented interpretation and translation skills. By undertaking this program, I will procure a meaningful career that is closely connected with communications at linguistic and cultural levels. It will help me; together with my future audience understand the world in better perspectives. One can do many things. Knowing both English and Chinese has truly made life easier in many aspects and I believe that knowing English, which is now one of the most spoken languages in the world, will open many more doors granting me a lot more different opportunity in life. The world is becoming one big village and the need for translators and interpreters increase every day. Given the opportunity I wish to be part of this village helping people to better communicate.
