BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The title of this research is “Research on the Impact of New Media: Compare Traditional Magazine and Electronic Magazine of China”. The principal investigator of this project is YOUR NAME, a student at the University of Leicester Department Media and Communication. I am studying the influence of new media on traditional media, focusing on the challenge of e-magazine to traditional magazine. In cooperation with my supervisor NAME SUPERVISOR, a lecturer at the University of Leicester Department Media and Communication, I am collecting data from ordinary net users of China. During field work, I asked the people to participate in the study voluntarily, and gave them a clear explanation of why I was carrying out the study. All data I collected after obtaining consent of the participants, and guaranteeing them they would be handled with maximum confidentiality.
PROCEDURES AND PROTECTION

The research involves questionnaire and interview, questionnaire is surveyed voluntarily, and so is interview. The session of interview should take about [60] minutes.

Your participation in the project/survey is entirely voluntary and you are free to withdraw from the project at any point. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable about any aspect of your participation please contact the Principal Investigators listed at the top of this letter to discuss your concerns or request clarification on any aspect of the study.

Any information you supply to use will be treated confidentially in accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act: your name and identifying affiliations will be anonymized in any resulting publications, unless you give us your explicit consent to identify you as a subject.
