In 2001, a merger between BHP Limited and Billiton Plc has been conducted. Unsurprisingly, a super huge dual listed company BHP Billiton was born. Operating as a combined group, the two entities created the synergy effect as much as possible. BHP Billiton has its office and subsidiaries in more than 60 sites all around the world. It sells various products from aluminum, iron ore, base metal to diamonds and stainless steel materials. BHP Billiton, one of three main suppliers of iron ore, possesses mighty influence in the iron ore industry. The iron ore sector is the main profit resources, creating the revenue of 11,139 dollars in 2010, nearly 10 percent more than last year. As the sixth largest producer of aluminum and one of the primary suppliers of Petroleum, it gained 10,409 and 8,782 dollars respectively.
