They treat their clients, staffs, stakeholders and other third parties equally and fairly with same attention, courtesy and respect regardless of their characteristic. There are few practices which could be implemented to improve their system and processes such as:
Inform employees of the discrimination legislation which is in force including provision of goods, facilities and services during recruitment and orientation
Employ more ethnic group employees who can interact with clients in their own cultural language to understand their needs more clearly and provide services effectively
Employees, stakeholders and directors should be informed about the communication plan upon calling a meeting and discussing and exchanging views and opinions upon implementing policies and procedures.
When recruiting and selecting employees advertise the available position needed in the organisation with required qualification
Equal opportunities are given to all applicants to apply but also consider applicants who can speak fluent English apart from their own cultural language to be an advantage when serving clients
A copy of the discrimination policy should be signed by the recruitment agency acting for ABC Concordia Healthcare Ltd ensuring they are fully aware of the requirements of unlawful discrimination and to act accordingly
A team meeting should be enforced in the organisation once a month to discuss and give their opinion about any issues and suggestions which can be implemented to improve the service
