留学生个人陈述 项目管理

现代社会的突出特点，就是学科交叉应用,知识融合,技术集成。这一特点表明,一个人必须努力不断提升自己的整体能力。不仅要扩大自己的知识基础,也要不断适应社会的需要，不断更新自己的思维模式，这也对于社会生产是极为重要的。通过努力学习，我进入了大学生活,我选择在XXX大学主修电气工程与自动化(EEA)。我的积极乐观的态度和强大的学习能力使我对自动化的基本理论有了很好的了解，并且对日常网络传输传有了一些研究和了解，对于实践经验有了一定的积累。然而,随着电子技术的发展,我所学会的知识技能不再能够满足我的愿望,我有了进一步的追求,渴望将我已经学会的技术的概念融入到工程的优化和管理项目中。为了在这方面弥补我的不足,我决定在贵校进修工程管理硕士学位。
 

Nowadays our modern society is characterized by the discipline crossing, knowledge blending and technologies integration. This characteristic dictates that a person must strive to enhance his overall abilities unceasingly. It is paramount for him to not only expand his knowledge base, but also accommodate himself to the needs of the society and renovate his thought patterns constantly. Embarking on college life, I chose to major in Electrical Engineering and Automation(EEA) in XXX University. My positive attitude and strong learning ability rendered my basic theories on automation and transmission network and my solid practical experience accumulated in everyday researches. However, with the dramatic development of electronic technology, the knowledge skills I have learnt no longer satisfies my aspiration to further my pursuit, and what I long for is to combine the technology I learnt with the conceptions of engineering and management for the optimization of projects. To compensate for my deficiency in this aspect, I decide to pursue a Master’s Degree of Engineering Management in your esteemed university.
 

Owing to my concentration on learning in academic days, I broke through in various examinations and ranked top. Deeply knowing the importance of practical operation for EEA, I devoted into related researches in and around our school, expecting to apply theories to practice. The project supported by National Nature Fund, called Multi-camera Object Detection via Homography Mapping, brought me enormous pressure but great honor at the same time. During the experiment, I proficiently applied C++ Programming Language to image processing, to establish automatic monitoring model. Under careful plans and steady researches, both my organizing ability on experiments and analogy capability had been promoted in the idea changing process with my advisor time after time. Via Digital Stopwatch building the circuit for decade counter, I further consolidated my capability on image design, and combined my knowledge with practice, to create more practical results. The experience of building and testing an ASURO Robot to realize its advanced functions, not only tested my manual ability on real electrical connection, electrical programming and circuit board welding, but also promoted me to study further in field of engineering.
 

If the study in university accumulated my knowledge, then the internships propelled my another giant leap. In virtue of my excellent grades in major and outstanding manual capability, I was recommended to take part in the school-sponsored project, Investigation of Arc Behavior in a Supersonic Nozzle, which aimed at guaranteeing safe cutting off and opening of HV switched freely by imitating the temperature and tension of the Arc in a Supersonic Nozzle. In this project, the first was to make sure the distribution of nozzles, then ascertaining the Governing Equation of various arc attributes in Supersonic Nozzle by conservation equation. Ultimately, an attribute distributing graph came out through my calculating the attribute state of simulative arc by PHOENICS, a CFD tool. Furthermore, when it came to the work in a computer maintenance center, I proficiently installed operating system and changed hardware. Meanwhile, according to the demands of current hardware, through the reference of previous articles of related fields, I made a report on hardware tendency. From these internships, my abilities in quick learning and skilled application of theories into practice were highly improved. What’s more, my academic paper writing skills and programming also developed a lot to adapt a more complex and advanced development of automation.
 

For the sake of comprehensive development, besides my study, I also had excellent performance in various after-school activities, with the purpose of enriching my experiences, enlarging my knowledge and broadening my horizon. During my tenure of Student Union president, I organized the first sports meeting of XJTLU. From the whole planning, place choosing, sponsorship finding and backup service in the early stage, to place arranging and return in the later stage, I did them all by myself. Finally, this sports meeting was highly praised by teachers and students, which meant recognition of my prominent leadership and management ability. Additionally, I was involved in some recreational and sports activity management as well, like speech competitions, freshmen welcome parties, football and matches, etc. Always and everywhere, I was inspired to be more excellent by my rigorous attitude in study, conscientious performance in activities and curiousness and passion in different fields.
 

With the aspiration and confidence to be a specialist in Engineering Management, I expect in future to have a deeper exploration with the purpose of increasing my knowledge storage and enhance my academic background to serve for this society in aspects of saving human recourses and making more convenient people’s way of life. Northeastern University is renowned for its profound academic background, unequaled teaching level, open and free academic atmosphere, and blending cultural environment, which I believe will serve as a pillar for the achievement of my aspiration.
