• Write a traditional essay that has a thesis statement in its introduction, has supporting points and paragraphs, and a conclusion.
• Describe the relationship between three sources: 1. Choose to use either the “One Man’s Kids” article or the “How to Write with Style” article. 2. Use real or fictional, personal or social experience. 3. Choose a new reading that may be from the internet or from a newspaper.
o Regarding (2), you may use your personal or a fictional experience, i.e., a story. Or, if you find this too difficult, you may substitute a newspaper article for this requirement. Find newspaper articles on Woodbury University’s library’s website: Go to www.woodbury.edu, click on “Current Students” and click on “Library.” Then, click on “Articles” and find the “Lexis-Nexis Data base” in the dropdown menu. Then search for an article.
o Regarding (3), find a new reading either by goggle searching the internet or by finding a newspaper article as described previously.#p#分页标题#e#
