怎么写essay？美国式逻辑的essay怎么写？
最近通过写essay，让我深入认识了我似乎认为了解但其实根本是一无所知的美国式的逻辑思考方法。写了几篇申请论文而已，看似简单的事情，其实是对中国5000年的传统思想和美国当今的新思维的整个冲撞。我觉得很有必要写出来分享。
在提笔写我的申请论文前，我总是摸不着方向。题目很简单：问你的职业规划，问你为什么要从事某一特定行业，问你想从中学到什么增进自己等等。可是，以我们传统的中国人思维来写文章的话，总是会长篇大论的客套一番，然后渐入主题。这算好的情况之一，坏的是，讲了个半天最后和主题相符的内容在最后一段来个小总结完事。我之前的文章虽然写的很精彩，从背景谈起，说父母亲怎么样，说自己所在的城市怎么样，说自己的大学怎么样！结果拿给我一个美国朋友一看，他第一反应就是：where is ur point! u wride down bunch of bullshit man! 美国人的逻辑思维的第一点出来了：不要谈你的过去，现在你是来我这申请，我们不想知道你过去有多牛逼，nobody care！你只要告诉我你将来在我这里能如何如何，这才是你要展现的地方。中国人传统的思维就是限定在以自己的过去成绩论未来，想想逻辑思维确实存在问题，你的过去能保证你的将来也一样成功吗？who knows？
然后在我第二次修改我的文章之后（这确实是一个很痛苦的过程），我尽量做到主题明确，逻辑紧密，任何一段的文章都做到相关。拿给老美看，问题再次出现：why u talk about ur main point so briefly? 我不是想写的详细，但我真的不知道将来会如何，你问我将来要做什么工作，我只能说是一个大方向，但谁会保证说明天我去买菜是买青菜还是生菜。又错了！美国佬不喜欢对自己目标不明确的人，你既然决定了来我这里，你就是要有所求。别期望着说混出来后再慢慢打算，我们不吃这一套！痛定思痛，我深刻的开始思考自己到底想要什么，这个星期的晚上基本都是被这些看似简单的问题围绕着，彻夜难眠！
第三次了，我觉得应该可以了，主题也把握了，目标也明确了。事不过三嘛···可我的美国哥们还是不饶人，这次的问题是：why u show so many negetive aspect of your live? don't complain OK dude? 我的天啊，别再折磨我了～！我只是想说明我以前的一些失败经历造成自己的奋发努力而已。按传统中国人思维，失败是成功之母！是一种激励！可是呢，老美反而不喜欢这种逻辑思维方式，他们喜欢听好话，激励人的话，让人热血澎湃的话！不然奥巴马的激情演说怎么能打动那么多美国人！确实，美国人天生乐观开朗，他们不喜欢东方阴沉沉的思想，及时在一篇申请信里，都会把那些表现出悲观的人一棒打死！。
最后一次，我通过了那位哥们的审核，并把我的文章送了出去。成不成事就看主了。总的来说吧，美国这个强大的国家在100多年能统治着世界，我认为和他们的处事行为方式很有关系，只是简单的一篇文章，在他们看来，就是看出你这个人的品质的全面体现。确实！这堂写作课，不是教你写天花乱坠的文章，而是让你够务实，够现实，够野心，够强大！一篇500字的短短小文章，能淋漓尽致的反应你的逻辑思维，人格品行，工作目标以及强大愿望，绝对不是一件容易的事，几乎要做到不讲一句废话，不提一个多余的事。文如其人，你的人配的上你的文了吗？
