介绍——Introduction
E Government is also called as e-gov, online government or digital government and it is also known as transformational government. Main aim of E Government is to create a cheaper way of communication between the citizens of the country and the government, communication between business people and government and communication between government and government. There are mainly four types of activities of E-Government which are as follows:
1.Feeding relevant information on internet
2.It helps in creating a two way communication between citizen and agency
3.It helps in activities like polling, campaigning or voting
4.It helps in conducting transactions

With the increase in load of work for the government to maintain and arrange the activities made by the citizens, businessmen and the government at the lower level, some thing had to be discovered which can reduce the pressure of all such activities from the government and provide them the opportunity to work better for the people. The novel approach which did all the jobs for the government was use of internet and activities done by this tool is called as E Governance and this is how E governance started.

Use of internet and modern technology used in E Governance may let the government to reach to a large number of populations
There will be a better customer relation management which will let the government to increase the number of services for the people in an effective manner
There is a better communication between different government departments which are making the working being done in a faster way (E-governance - benefits and challenges, 2006)
E Governance helps the government to take part in various business transactions

A big administrative support is needed for this is to be done. in order to communicate between federal government and the state government, it is necessary to convince bureaucracy of benefits of E Governance
Private sector needs to give support to the government in order to get success in E Governance projects

E Government initiatives in Emirates mainly aim to convert the services provided by municipality into various business segments with a view to provide measurable and significant benefits to the people living in these areas
E government has made the organizations in UAE more customers centric. They have started thinking more about the customers (Bahrozyan, 2003)
The Nature and Direction of E-Government Practices at Emirates Municipal Level
Nature and direction of E Governance practices at the municipality level in Emirate is very much clear. They mention the E Governance objectives and accordingly implementation plan and approach is decided. Achievements till the time are also taken into account with several critical success factors.
There is a Direct Interaction of the Municipality of Emirates with the customers in order to improve the ingredients of the project and in order to reduce the cost of the services provided to such customers
Nature of the practices of E Governance in Municipality is such that it aims in achieving a balanced economy and also the make the level of the municipality global
Direction for achievement of all the initiatives are provided by the internet and increasing use of internet and modern communication all across the world
Stages Developmental and Transformation of E-Government Practices at the Municipal Level
There are number of stages of development and transformation of E Government practices at the municipality level. There are mainly four stages for the above which are as follows:
?Strategy: This involves finding out the perfect strategy for the government to interact with the customers, business and other governmental bodies in order to find out solution for the problems at the municipality level
Process: This step involves defining the process to be used in formulating the strategies of the government
People: This steps talks about the involvement of people in the formulating the strategies and defining the process for the same
Technology: This steps talks about involvement of technology for the implementation of various E Governance Projects at the municipality level. This is the most important steps as this is the main frame work for E Governance (Hussain, 2006)

In this project we are going to research from a secondary source and we are going see the online transaction made by Emirates in return of the services which are provided to them in the year 2006.
数据收集——Data Collection
We are going to collect data from the secondary source (internet) about online payment made in the year. Internet site chosen for the same is unpan1.un.org and the data is related to Dubai Municipality (Hussain, 2006)
数据分析和数据解释——Data Analysis and Data Interpretation
We can see from the data given in the charts 1 that there is a continuous increase in the online payment done for the Dubai Municipality. We can analyze from this data that there is an increasing demand of online services provided to the customers by Dubai Municipality. Increase in the collection of money through online transactions show that customers are going technological. They believe more in E services rather than older ways. This shows that Dubai Municipality has an increasing interaction with E Governance project and it has to look for providing better electronic services to the people.
If we see the data for the whole year, then we can conclude that the online payment has gone from 1,500,000 AED to 2,500,000 AED in just one year. It is just a double increase which shows that E Governance activities are going to be really striking for Dubai Municipality
总结和建议——Summary and Recommendations
We can summarize from our above research that E Governance is continuously increasing in Emirates and in the municipality corporations of Emirates. This increasing growth in E Governance projects has taken all older ways of doing projects into vain. Municipality of Dubai has a continuous increase in the online payment which showed that there is an increase trust of the people on online services
Recommendation that we can give are as follows:
?Municipality Corporation of Dubai should look forward to improve the electronic services provided to the customers because they should be ready to face a huge increase in the near future as well
?Increase in money in online transaction does not mean that Dubai Municipality is getting more money, it is just that way of earning the money has been changed, earlier it was not online and now it. Hence the government does not sit idle thinking that they are earning high. They should try to earn more
