With the prevalence of Japanese cartoon and comic, the amount of Japanese comic and game fans in campus is already obviously increased and the arrival of a high-speed convenient multifunctional social media site which is also multi-platform is inevitable.
随着日本卡通和漫画在校园内的流行，日本漫画和游戏迷已经明显增加，并且现在高速便捷的多功能社交媒体网站这样的平台更是促进了它的流行趋势。
This multifunctional and multi-platform site which named ‘OTACO’ is social media site that can strengthen the bonds between people has interest in common and provide a platform for campus students to extend the circles of friend. The name OTACO comes from OTAKU which means the huge fan of Japanese comic and cartoon in Japanese and the CO which is a prefix used to form verbs or nouns that refer to people sharing things or doing things together. OTACO is a multi-platform site that can support Smartphone, PSP (PlayStaion Portable) and NDSL (Nintendo Dual Screen Lite) and support the function of chat, trading and friends position fixing.
The inspiration of OTACO comes from complain of one of my friends who is a super fan of Japanese comic and game. She said that everyone she knows at uni does not interest in Japanese comic that all her kindred spirits is on the internet. Coincidentally, another friend of mine had been complained the same thing. Thus a campus-range social interactive media site which is special for uni users is needful. This social media site should be able to increase general user participation for social community and increase the efficiency and efficacy of user to gain the up to date comic news from social media site. Through interview the campus students, most of the interviewees considered that not only the new comic information but also the comic merchandise trading information is desired.
The interviewees include master and bachelor students in varies faculty who interest in Japanese comic and games and some of interviewees have been chosen from Japanese tutorial or IT faculty. They responded frankly that instead of real society social communication, it is easier for them to make friends on internet, the lack of real life society communication has been giving them trouble and finding friends in campus is demanded. 坦白地说，他们这些不是存在于现实社会中的社会交往的反应，使他们更容易在互联网上获得朋友，但是由于现实生活中缺乏社会沟通，会给他们带来麻烦，而且在现实中交友是很有必要的。
The main users’ interface should be easy to navigate, intuitive, and effective in helping the users achieve their goals quickly and effortlessly. This users’ interface would be capable of arousing users’ interest and curiosity at first sight. Psychological studies indicate that an appropriate user’s interface can obviously advance the impression of the theme of a website that the interface is an essential carrier which carries out the favorable communication between user and social media site.http://www.ukassignment.org/lxslw/
This is the main menu of IPHONE APP OTACO system users’ interface and it includes four main functions of OTACO that users can post their new message on to the OTACO site or communicate with their fellows in campus. The trading information also can upload to OTACO and users can trade the firsthand or secondhand comic merchandises. Position sharing is the function that users can upload their locations to other OTACO users and meet them in the campus. The type of users’ interface is in different size but the same type when the platform is PSP and NDSL. 用户界面的类型是不同大小的，但PSP和NDS是相同类型的平台。
Chat room聊天室
Catherin is an 18 years old student in IT faculty who is a super fan of Japanese comic and is really accomplished in computer and internet. She is also a participator in some note of many famous online communities’ activities. On the contrary, in real life Catherin is very shy and inconspicuous thus she does not have many friends. Gradually she indulges in the internet society and is addicted in internet. She painfully found that all her value is in a fictitious society but not in real life. Catherin wants to change herself, has healthy sociality and make friends in campus but she is not good at communicate with other people and wish to make friends that has the same hobby with her. Thus maybe she can found her value in real life and society through enhance her ability of sociality.

The OTACO CHAT is separated to two parts, the common part and the private part. The common part adapt from twitter which is more like a print-sized university special twitter that campus users can post any message to OTACO CHAT and all users can follow any people they interest in. One of the essential functions in OTACO CHAT common part is the topic chat room. The users can apply one common chat room which is about a comic or cartoon that can accept 300 campus users and the campus users will receive a message that a new topic chat room has been built and they can apply to enter it. If the amount of people gets to limitation, users can apply the second same topic chat room. Also the small chat room which limitation is 30 users is available. The campus users who want to have a small chat room with their friends can apply a private one and the random small chat rooms are also available which is for users want to make more friends. This kind of small chat room is random that campus users apply to enter a random chat room and they can meet people they never know thus provide a relish to users.
