Incident by SWAG protesters’ obstruction at Wallaby Forest
This morning a SWAG protester has been injured by a truck during its routine weed control at Wallaby Forest, the location for Envision Constructions new housing development.
The reckless man injured was taking part in a blockade when the accident took place.
The council environmental officer Gareth Seacombe was on the site to provide advice about the environmental planning overlay. And the routine weed control is for its obligations to Burralinga Council and its capacity as a good corporate citizen.
Such things like the obstruction the protester did are not occasional on Envision Constructions’ large housing development.
