Across the three countries data was obtained from 130 young people and 48 adult interviewees. The methods used were individual in-depth interviews, small-group/paired interviews, and focus group discussions. Additional material was obtained by recording (with consent) several of the informal discussions which took place between the research team, project personnel and other local stakeholders. All data was transcribed in full on return to the United Kingdom.
