He submitted an application for himself and his team. The application had been accepted, and his team was established with some of the employees being home-based and others using the flexible option. He knows how to satisfy his team members’ needs, and to make the right decision to solve problem, which leads his team to achieve their team goals with high efficiency.

Good communication can help team members understand the situation and make decision-making more rational and effective.JAMES has a good communication performance. He had kept in touch with his direct reports many times during the week. He also concluded that the best way for him to keep everyone on the same page was to conduct weekly conference calls with his entire tea, of 45. His role is to make sure that they keep the big picture in mind. And because he understand the meeting time is not perfect for everyone, he try to always start and end on time. Through communication, JAMES can make his team more united andcohesive.

As a manager, JAMES knew theart of strategic management. He sets organization's general direction and objectives for his global team members and formulates a specific strategy. JAMESreturns to India because he sees more opportunities there and knows that he could more rapidly advances his career, given the bourgeoning technology market in the region. JAMES has a good plan to recruit new hires in other countries. JAMES was very clear about whathe did when he first took this job. He contacted their local human resource team in Mumbai, India, which sent him 75 impressive resumes of graduates from the India Institutes of Technology. He traveled to Mumbai for a week and hired 16 people. He did the same thing with other countries, which also won him many talents in the field.
