This assignment invites you to carry out your own piece of applied media analysis and make use of a selected method(s) as appropriate. Through conducting a small-scale piece of analysis we hope that you will deepen your understanding of certain methods and considerations of methodology and that you will be encouraged to engage in further forms of media analysis in subsequent media modules. This assignment, then, expects you to engage with, apply, and reflect on, concerns of method and methodology and to demonstrate this in a written media report.
