The amount of boarding school has greatly increased nowadays. A lot of schools require that teenagers have to live in school dormitory, and parents are willing to send their kid to a boarding school in order to improve their skills. The life experience in boarding school is interesting for almost all teenagers, they get more freedom and they save their times going back home and going to school, they have more time for studying. The disadvantaged teenagers who have bad behaviors or live in bad situations should attend boarding school to bind themselves or raise their personal accomplishment. Boarding school helps disadvantaged teenagers to build up strong abilities such as being responsible and independent. IX. Negative of Local School
A. Attending local school makes it more likely one will be involved in bad behaviors such as drug use, fighting, and smoking.
B. Students do not have the opportunities to mature and become their own person if they attend local school.
C. The risk of choosing wrong friends may be the reason most often heard, and it's a serious problem. However, it can happen in a private school or a neighborhood (even the "best"). D. The environment is not and cannot be tailored to students with special needs, such as sightless students, students who have auditory issues, or simply students with different personalities, such as introverts. This can lead to frustration, which in turn can yield unsatisfactory results.
X. Conclusion
The benefits for disadvantaged teenagers attending boarding school are obvious. Boarding school trains teenagers as well as it can, teenagers are able to adapt to different environment themselves easily. Independence, mature and responsible are going to be shown after they real experience the boarding school life. Their hearts become strong, and they get over their bad habits. Boarding school shapes teenagers socialize, teenagers are willing to communicate and share their happy things, and feelings with each other instead of enjoy the happiness themselves. It also protect the disadvantaged teenagers, it keeps teenagers away from violent, hitting and spoiling.
