审计对人们来说，是很重要的技能,因为它可以帮助我们确定我们的优势和劣势,并帮助我们了解我们所面临的机会和威胁。一般来说,优势分析是一个很好的方法，有助于方便快捷地制定一个技能审计，并帮助许多学者和研究人员用它来做很多分析研究。因此,我们经常使用优势分析来分析我们的优势和劣势，以及我们所面临的机会和威胁。

1.0 Portfolio item 1: Skills Audit 1.01 SWOT-analysis Making a skills audit is very important to people, because it can help us make certain to our strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. In general, SWOT-analysis is a very good method to make a skills audit and many scholars and researchers use it to do many analysis. Therefore, we often use SWOT-analysis to analyze our strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Firstly, I am an honest, having the sense of responsibility and principle’s person. I always try my best to find all kinds of possible ways to finish work and actively take responsibility instead of shirk responsibility when my work goes wrong. Secondly, I have a good thinking, logic, rigorous and I like study. I'm good at thinking and carefully deal with some problems which happened to me and I am interested in around me. Finally, I am an open heart, enthusiastic, easygoing and like to communicate with other people.
Weaknesses analysis
Like others people, although I have some advantages, there is no doubt that I have some disadvantages. Firstly, lacking of work experience is an important problem to me. As a student, we also face this problem and I will actively participate in all kinds of social activities and practice to make up for the deficiency in this respect. Secondly, lacking of time management skills is another weakness. No matter in life or in study, I find that I am always very busy, do many things at the same time, nothing is finished and nothing is done well. So in future, I will train my skill to manage time. Finally, considering issues is also from one-sided instead of comprehensive. Sometimes, I always take problems too simple for granted, which often causes many unnecessary problems.
Opportunities analysis
Firstly, I'm still very young, so there are many things I can try and do. I have enough time to think my interests, my appropriate job and have chance to make mistakes then correct errors. Secondly, I have chance to come into contact with business. Because my father is a businessman and he also tell me a lot of things about his work, so I have chance to contact with business ever since I was a child. My biggest wish is to be an excellent person and to be a great businessman like my father. Finally, with the development, business environment have take place great changes. Because we have received a senior professional education, so we have opportunities to be engaged in business.
Threats analysis
Firstly, I am not familiar with information of business which is related with my ideal job. My major is business and I also want to be a businessman. So, learning about the information and development trend are very important to my future career and life. However, I am not keeping up with those related news which is a threat to me. Secondly, the frequent global financial crisis is also a great threat factor to future business. In recent years, with the global economy is complex and has already in an organic whole. The real economy is related with the financial industry. Therefore, the frequent global financial crisis is also a great threat factor, since I want to be a businessman.
Though SWOT-analysis, I am not only learn about my Strengths and opportunities but also find out my weaknesses and threats. The solution I have found for my weaknesses and threats are in the below. Firstly, I should exercise my skills to manage time. I will do my work and study schedule in every day and try my best to finish and do well my things. Secondly, I should take an active part in all kinds of social activities and practice in my study life. For example, I can anticipate in all kinds of volunteer activities and enterprise practice. Thirdly, I should exercise my decision-making ability, which is important to my future career and life. Finally, I should do well in my study about business and management to deal with my disadvantages of not keeping up with information.

I am an international student from China, and I am studying career development in Business at Coventry business school in Coventry University. Besides, because my father is a businessman and he had a great influence on me. Therefore, I would like economic, commercial and other related disciplines. The most important thing is that I want to do business like my father after I come back to China in the future. Then I will make a planning of my career development.

Though analyzing my own strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, I believe that these two jobs are appropriate to me. Besides, I think we should not only pay attention to the salary of jobs, but also pay attention to my own advantages and disadvantages, the development space of the work, etc. Firstly, I have received a higher and better education than others who have not chance to receive university education or go abroad. I will respectively introduce this two jobs and why it appropriate to my needs and skills. To sum up, through analyzing the requirements of marketing director and project manager, assess myself advantages and disadvantages. According my SWOT-analyze and skills audit, I can safely draw a conclusion that these two jobs are suitable for me.#p#分页标题#e# 4.0 Portfolio Item 4: Group Meeting
We have organized group meeting and then to discussion and in the mock group interview. In our mock group interview, we have four interviewees and two interviewers. I am mainly responsible for introducing the interviewer's position and asked interviewees some questions. Our mock group interview carried out very well. We simulated a car sales company for the sales staff in our mock group interview. I asked interviewees to introduce themselves, work experience, their greatest and weakness and some open problems, etc. and interviewees’ performance is very good. Though this mock interview, I have learned that we should distinguish my own strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. In addition, we should analyze my own character, specialty, and suitable job. Besides, we also should plan our career development. Through the mock group interview, I find that I have the characteristics and advantages for a marketing director and project manager. Group members believe that I have following advantages. Firstly, I have received a higher and better education than others who have not chance to receive university education or go abroad.
