The progress of globalisation is likely to be reduced by the impact of the ongoing financial crisis and the resulting recession. This inevitably has an impact upon multinational corporations. This question effectively centres on the debate as to whether or not globalisation and multinationals are a positive thing or are there too many negative aspects that need to be considered?

 
In their drive to maximise their performance firms can invest in tangible assets http://www.ukassignment.org/   such as IT and human resources. However, how can they optimise intangible assets such as corporate reputation. Likewise, what strategies could a firm adopt to enhance its corporate reputation? This focus may be especially important if the company has suffered a setback in its reputation in the eyes of its key stakeholders such as its consumers for example.
